1. Payments & Security

Q: Why do I see ‘Peach Payments’ on the checkout page?
A: We use Peach Payments, a trusted South African payment gateway, to securely process your payments. Their platform ensures your card details are captured safely and transmitted securely.

Q: Is it safe to enter my card details on your website?
A: Absolutely. Autobuddy SA never stores your full card details. All card information is securely tokenized and transmitted to Peach Payments’ PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant platform. Look for the “Secured by Peach Payments” logo at checkout for added peace of mind.

Q: What is 3D Secure, and why am I asked for a password or OTP?
A: 3D Secure (Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode) is an extra security step during online card payments. You may be redirected to your bank to enter a one-time password (OTP) or approve the payment via your banking app. This step protects your card from unauthorized use and is mandatory in South Africa.

2. Orders, Shipping & Delivery

A: Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them, provided they have not been processed or dispatched. After this window, cancellations are not possible, and you must follow the Return Policy.

Q: How do I request a return or refund?
A: Return and refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include proof of purchase. Returns are subject to inspection.

Q: Are there items that cannot be returned?
A: Yes, non-returnable items include:

  • Electrical components that have been installed or tampered with
  • Special-order or imported parts
  • Clearance or sale items
  • Items damaged due to incorrect installation

Q: How long does it take to get a refund?
A: Once a return is approved, refunds are processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment method. Bank processing times may vary.

Q: How do I know if a part fits my vehicle?
A: Always verify your vehicle make, model, engine type, and year before purchasing. Autobuddy SA provides part specifications, but it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility.
