Autobuddy SA – Refund Policy
At Autobuddy SA, we aim to supply quality automotive parts and ensure customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy complies with standard South African consumer protection guidelines.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Customers may qualify for a refund if:
- The incorrect item was supplied by Autobuddy SA
- The item is defective or damaged upon delivery
- The item is not as described
- The order was successfully cancelled before dispatch
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the order.
2. Non-Refundable Items
Refunds will not be granted for:
- Parts incorrectly ordered by the customer (wrong model, engine type, or specification)
- Electrical components that have been installed or tampered with
- Special-order or imported parts requested specifically for a customer
- Items damaged due to incorrect installation
We strongly advise customers to confirm part compatibility before purchase.
3. Inspection Process
All returned items are subject to inspection.
Refunds will only be processed once:
- The item is received back at our warehouse
- The item is confirmed unused and in original packaging
- The item passes quality inspection
Autobuddy SA reserves the right to decline a refund if the item does not meet return conditions.
4. Refund Processing Time
Once approved:
- Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days
- Refunds are issued via the original payment method
- Bank processing times may vary depending on the financial institution
5. Shipping Costs & Refunds
- Original delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Return courier costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrectly supplied
