4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).
Prices include VAT where applicable.
Autobuddy SA reserves the right to change pricing without prior notice.

We accept secure online payments via approved payment gateways, including services facilitated through Peach Payments. Payment must be received in full before orders are processed or dispatched.

5. Payment & Secure Transactions

Autobuddy SA is committed to secure payment processing and customer data protection. All payments are processed through Peach Payments, a trusted and secure South African payment gateway.

5.1 Payment Processing

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and Instant EFT.
Payments are securely processed via Peach Payments’ PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant platform.
Your card details are never stored on our servers; they are securely tokenized and transmitted directly to Peach Payments.
Autobuddy SA does not have access to your full card number at any time.

5.2 3D Secure Verification

To protect against fraud, a 3D Secure (Verified by Visa / Mastercard SecureCode) step may be required during checkout:

You may be asked by your bank to enter a one-time password (OTP) or authorize the payment via your banking app.
This mandatory security step is implemented by South African banks to protect your card from unauthorized use.

5.3 Customer Acknowledgment

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that:

Payments will be processed through Peach Payments.
All sensitive card data is handled securely by Peach Payments.
Autobuddy SA is not responsible for issues arising from fraudulent or unauthorized use of card details, provided the payment platform has been used correctly.

6. Order Acceptance

An order is only confirmed once:

Payment has been successfully received, and
An order confirmation has been issued.

Autobuddy SA reserves the right to cancel any order due to:

Stock unavailability
Pricing errors
Suspected fraudulent activity

If an order is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery takes approximately 3–7 business days nationwide.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays.
Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.

Autobuddy SA is not liable for delays caused by courier companies or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our separate:

9. Warranty Disclaimer

All mechanical parts should be installed by qualified professionals.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Autobuddy SA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
We are not responsible for vehicle damage resulting from improper installation or misuse of parts.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights granted under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

12. Fraud Prevention

Autobuddy SA reserves the right to:
